Hot Rolled, Cold Rolled And Cold Drawn Steel

In the world of steel manufacturing process, the stainless steel undergoes a lot of processes starting with molding, rolling and ending with reshaping. In between, the tensile strength to the steel is imparted by passing it through different temperatures. It is the rolling of the steel where the metal stock is passed through the pair of rolls. The temperature at which the steel undergoes for rolling is determined as per the application for which it will be used. Hot Rolling

Herein, the temperature of the metal should be greater than the recrystallization temperature, or it should be such that it can alter the grain structure.

Cold Rolling

Cold Drawn
